After spending a bulk of the time in Taiping, being back in Singapore is quite dizzying. You realize how steeped in technology and comfort we are. (And in reality, how lazy we are)Maxwell Hill was very FUN. If you dont mind the leeches. And the cold water (pure mountain stream water) together with the redundant heaters. And being isolated from the rest of the world if you dont watch Astro (m'sian cable) Being up there is like having PERPETUAL aircon. And it pretty quiet and restful. (Like having the whole place to yourselves) Pity the only waterfall there is only big enough for you to dunk your butt in (so says the ahpek) Orchid hunting is fun, and you get paid if you have an orchid mad father and and equally orchid mad uncle. :D particularly if you spot orchids on the huge rock they just walked past.grins satisfiedly.i love astro. thats the msian cable tv. i love astro even more when the next door neighbour in taiping happens to be your aunt's mom, and has ALL the astro channels. Including ESPN, which is what we go to msia for. FOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAALLLLLextremely pleased look. I caught both arsenal versus chelski and arsenal versus wigan. 45 minutes, two halves, and uninterrupted football bliss.ahhh.too bad henry's injured.LIST OF PLAYERS TO WATCH:ARSENAL:Cesc Fabregas - this guy rocks. substitue 80 minutes into the wigan game, one cross, GOAL. Also the reason why Arsenal got into Champions league final last yr.Adebayor - stand in for henry. great guy.Thierry Henry - the reason why i support Arsenal. The main driving force of the whole team, great goalscorer. YEAH.Matthieu Flamini - goal against Chelski. What else do you have to know?Robin van Persie - another Arsenal forward. YEAH.Theo Walcott - Wenger was smart to snap him up. Grins.OTHER TEAMS:Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes (Man Utd): Old, but still better. YEAHRooney(Man Utd): Shoots goals like anythingSteven Gerrard ('Pool): Single handledly got Liverpool the Champions League AND the FA Cup.Didier Drogba(Chelski): You gotta respect this guy. He's banging in EVERYTHING.Ronaldinho and Deco(Barca): Both brazillian magic. Ronaldinho's the ABSOLUTE eptitome of football greatness.Eto'o (Barca): Brilliant in front of goal. Too bad he's injuredList of managers to admire:Wenger - you gotta support your manager, you know.Jewell - hey, a relegation team like wigan can manage to stay in the top half of the table, as well as challenge the top four, it says something about this guy.Rikjaard - this guy rules La Liga with Barcashoot. champions league fixtures look DARN interesting. ahh.i wish i had astro.

hello. lolx. still on the freaking ambigrams. digitising them i mean. yawns. and actually just redoing them because i found ways to make them look nicer.i wanna play soccer. whines. and i thought i found a way to head without getting a bruise but i got it all the same. winces. ouch. everytime i do that my head hurts. mutters. ohwell. my dad was like, why you go and header for what.oh gen is a good golf teacher! i had two hole in ones. grins. it was damm tyco all the same. cant wait for interclass soccer. but sharyn told me that the pitches are going to be so tiny. hmm? how to fit 20 people there. street netball is just after starlit night. Its going to be kinda fun, because its like, possession. HEH. but we dont have shooters? how? the other team has like 3. ROFL.quite funny if you ask me. could they just diffuse over? i have currently devoured the second book of she diao ying xiong zhuan. grins at the cat. can i have the third book? the problem is i'll only get it like, hmm monday or stm. BUT I WANT TO READ IT! cause it stopped at the interesting part where hongqigong is fighting ouyangfeng. on a burning boat. and then it stopped. ahhh. i shall try and borrow it from the library. grumbles. and monday is chinese o's. not really studying at any rate, just reading chinese books and newspapers. i think im going to be so bored that i'll just start either finishing up the PAWNshop book, or just rereading jinyong. AHA. then i can go to the funny zhoubotong parts. It's damm cute, the part where he's using his left hand to fight with his right. zzz. i better get back to work. sian.

boo. just stopping by. before going off to get more glittery again. the whole week has been filled with masks dancing the polka around. by the end of next week, im going to IGNORE them FOREVER. im sick and tired of decorating and decorating, and the stupid haze is making it worse.
yawns. im terribly sorry. i have been grumbling away since the start of this week. things arent looking very terribly bright. i surmise that we wont finish the masks even by next week, which means i have to watch them sashay, saunter, salsa around the classroom for a few more antagonizing hours. argh. why couldnt i have just picked a slacker job (???!!!!) but it will still be the same anyway. my sis says we both inherited the secretly hidden perfectionist trait.
its back to the 3D ones soon. i think im such a cruel monster mel, making my class people slave for nothing. everyday i hear them grumbling i get even more cranky about how come nobody from STN ever comes to help; because they shouldnt even be grumbling about it in the first place. ah wth. maybe its just because the works seems damm daunting. just thinking of the hall alone gives me a friggin headache. i damm hope the other comms are just dammed busy. rant rant rant.
time to zip up. no more infighting allowed (can't even afford it) i shall try not to convey my pissed attitude in my emails. grawh. which is hard. grumble. i need more materials, and msle ow comes and tells us that we should not try to spend too much (eek) so, sigh, i dunno what's going to happen when cat's glitter glue thingy runs out (is there a refill?) all the same, i do enjoy the decorating process just that its too many that its getting dammed tedious. swears.
ZIPPPPP. GOODBYE.

hellooo. in the shaw lab now editing class yearbook. or rather lich's doing it while im slacking. she's now polishing lingxi's face HEHEHE.eh lingxi, you look damm cute. HAHAHAHA.we had our last net carn on monday. 408 did relatively well! (at least we weren't rock bottom) but i knew we had some matches that we could have won if i played better and didnt make wrong choices of people. but ohwell. gen was great xP i think she shoots a bit like silei even with her sprained wrist. and geper classes are scary, or at least, super enthu, and thus kinda violent. playing kelly's class i got my glasses knocked off and andrea sprained her ankle. ohwell. grawh. kelly you had better scold your class already. mutter mutter. luckily we had three minute games cause we stood a better chance of winning with a short game given our lack of players anyway.and the STUPID MILO VAN DIDNT COME. gripes. waaaahhh. and it rained at first, which explains the three minute games anyhow. and i dont like 410 and their players. ohyeah the netballers won the teachers student games! WHEEE. MSTAN YOUR STRATEGY NEVER WORK LORH. hahahaha. they played a beautiful game - one half step, interceptions, layups and the works. very nice. at secondary school i think you can still play like that because the defenders aren't that great. higher level games are nice to watch but the passing isnt as flowy because the defenders there are much more pro-er. later tomorrow:i miss netball..walking past the courts today, then the sec ones were training with ms hainee. then i was thinking about the days when we were training at the laupokk carpark court there, with those furry netballs and we had to drag the blue heavy poles out, as well as ask the security guard uncle to put up the barriers. and the furry netballs kept on rolling down cause the court was at a slant. and sadaf was there, who we were all very intimidated by, and thankful to for her hard training because we then grew into better players under her conditioning. heh. and then we got two new netball courts and new shiny balls and nice poles that we didnt have to move around. see juniors? you guys are DAMM LUCKY. eleanor was asking me whether i was going to join the netball main team in JC because its 16 a team not 12, and so, mathematically and logically you stand a higher chance of getting in. the answer is no though. i dont think i want to go through playing and playing and not getting on the school team, and with that, not improving. im just content to stop at this level, and let myself get carried away by nice memories and leave the striving to the school team to fight it out. being on the border of getting in and not getting in is really unplesant and sometimes heartbreaking and very very tiring. i shall just stick to umpiring and netball will always be the first game that i ever loved and dedicated so much too.i miss my batch right now, i wish i was back in penang just joking around with them and laughing with ms chng and ms hainee on the bus, and playing netball, stress free and everything. i miss the fun times we had training together, doing ms chng's scary new/fun drills, gossiping during water breaks, playing carnivals, getting sunburnt, cheering at the finals, eating netball dinners, coming up with weird items at netball camp, laughing at all the weird idiocransies a bunch of jokers can get. geri's going to call me a sentimental freak. but still, right now i miss geri's SUPER LAMENESS. (aww geri, aint you touched).i would give anything to train with them again xD
