"hello!!! my heart just jump out and drop back in!!" - ms hainee
rofl. this week has been fun, full of muscles aches and butterflies fluttering around in the lower body torso. o.0 lessons are a thrill as well, i could just sleep in them, except for lit and social studies and chem prac.
Raffles A had matches monday wednesday and thursday and we won all of them, but that is talking big because we had the easy matches first. hopefully our luck holds, and we win the next two. talking about it gives me the jitters.
i wish we could really play in toa payoh, not for myself only, but for the whole team. this is a team of really low self esteem; everyone thinks that they played badly when they did not, and ms hainee had to tell us that she never ever underestimated us, but she didnt take into account that we underestimated ourselves. being in the non school team for 4 years yes, have something towards the effect, no matter how an idealist like geri you are. if we win, we could just get the results of 4 years of insane dedication towards netball. and as elaine said, this proves that we CAN play a good game, just not good enough to match up to the school team players at the highest level. and i think we should really ask ourselves is our hardwork really not as up to mark as the school team players? i dont believe that no matter how much hard work we put it, the school team gets off with the glory and stuff. this is not a rant against the school team, but i think raffles A will be really heartbroken we get kicked out at the group stage.
watch out, bishan park and bkt panjang govt high. i hope we perform above expectations.
i guess we could be despots for the glory, but sometimes the camadrie just pulls you down to earth again. maybe all this time we were just looking for the camadrie that comes through matches and matches of a tournament rather than the feel of the medal and all the rubbish.
as i said, this team is really low on self-esteem...
