OTHER MELTWINN HERE :Dsince twinn hasn't blogged about the play on sunday, i shall blog in her place (: twinn and i went to watch a twist of fate at the esplanade last sunday! it was so hilarious, haha especially adrian pang as uncle albert. just that you can't picture him having an affair with madam chan, cos he looks a generation younger than her :/ i think alice and ah see are so cute! the rich missy and the poor servant boy. "you're up there, and i am way down here. but we won't let them stop our 'kiss-me-quickness', cos we have a hopeless case of altitude sickness." HAHA omg so adorable, that's from one step at a time. especially emma yong, she's such a delightful actress! like highly dramatic and stuff :D and ah see singing "i kill chiiiiiiiiiiiiickensssssss~" *bokbokkk* (x i think they outshone the main couple - emma & richard, but still i like emma & richard's song; the when i look into his/her eyes one. twinn bought me the recorded cd! THANKS TWINN -hearts twinn. just that the cd has the recording of the original rendition at raffles hotel, so the whole cast is different :/ emma yong isn't alice, and madam chan is dolly from under one roof?! what nonsense la. sheila francisco is so much better, she's so funny pls she goes "CHEEE!" whenever anyone says anything wrong XD
the whole play was like two and a half hours long? but i wanna watch again!! YAY YAY. who wants to gimme free ticket? XD haha the whole thing finished around 7 so twinn and i decided to go look for a place to eat dinner. esplanade has trade monopoly okay, only one restaurant for each food genre. so if you wanna eat chinese food, you MUST go to the peking restaurant; and if you want japanese food you MUST go to whatever jap restaurant that was. it didn't even have sushi la please, it was like the continental kinda ripoff jap restaurant ): so we went looking for suntec cos suntec has lotsa lotsa food, but then we got lost decided to try raffles city first cos it looked so much like suntec :D but then raffles only has food on the basement level and there wasn't rlly anything atall, so we walked to suntec in the end. hoho despite twinn's growling stomach x/ i don't like kenny rogers it cheated my feelings! omg we expected it to be cheaper than that luh ): so we walked arnd and found nydc instead, YAY nydc rocks everyone should go to nydc. and it's not just cos the waiter's cute okay, the waitresses there are pretty too :D haha no la, it's just that the food there is really good and they give like huge portions? like the elephanccino; the name is self-explanatory. it was like a... pitcher? hoho twinn and i shared. and they have stuffed toys! to twinn's delight, that is. she kept asking me to "pass me the elephant! it's so cute!" heh :DDi must watch pride & prejudice! darcy looks better in the trailer than he does in all those internet screenshots. phew, good thing la cos otherwise it'd spoil my perfect image of him forever. but he's STILL NOT AS SHUAI AS DARCY'S SUPPOSED TO BE!! -rants. )): nvm i shall just go watch for fun la :D pride and prejudice, pride and prejudice! yay. they should make the jasper fforde books into movies, too! then i can watch the movie versions of all my favourite books YAY!!! i think i've gone high; multiple exclamation marks are a sign of insanity :/
