hee. i love the drama centre at the new Nat. Lib.

its super big and spacious and airy with all the acoustics done up and it has three levels. grins. so actually its like you can sit on level one, level two and level three if you choose. reminds me of boxes in the old victorian theatres. and the stage is uber cool, its like a grid with nine squares and superb lighting and whatnot. WHEE. and mommy and i were sitting near the centre had a fantastic view of the whole thing.

and this is where having weird ears like mine is absolutely irritating. i mean like, they had to project their own voices, and sometimes they had to do a stage whisper and i COULDNT HEAR A THING. grumbles. i mean, other people could hear, and they were laughing their heads off and i was like, what?

SIGHS.

next time get me front row seats 'kay?

haha. its called The Second Link : The Singaporean-Malaysian Text Exchange and its part of the Singapore Writers' Festival. man. it was good. 5 malaysian actors acted out singaporean texts like poems and plays and fiction. then they had a interval aka at the causeway, then 5 singaporean actors did malaysian works. and it was quite apparent that the malaysian texts had the wider and better variety as compared to the singaporean texts. haha. buck up singapore!

but the singaporean actors were better (even though they did have the better texts) HAHA. they discussed so much politics. and i didn't understand - what is wuwu doing in SS...

haha but some plays were damm cute. like the singaporean one on Singlish and the eunuches and the banana, the malaysian ones were Dalut, Atomic Jaya, and the Chef's Secrets. These were the highly amusing ones.

Come think of it, the whole thing was choked with satires. HEH.

lolx. from the singaporean side there was one addressing lesbianism and the two actors had to kiss...and they did. very convincingly. well, it was dark and everything...

heh. my mom was like remarking" there are some EXPLICIT bits in THERE" later. rofl.

heh. but no one called for encore. sad...

stupid Katrina should go and die.anyway, HongKong's getting hit by a hurricane, i think, but it has slowed into a tropical storm, so it was not so bad but still as bad as Katrina at any rate.><

ohhyeah, spore's hosting asian netball championships. YAY.

haha, i made like 4 quills and one spoilt feather. and the last one's symmetry is just nicely done. *grins* all the previous ones tend to favour right-handers. wheee.

went twinns house today. had fun bullying sims, killing sims, and making more sims. HOW COME ALL SIMS WANNA SCREW EACH OTHER? one particular sim had so much libido that he wanted to screw 5 people. and they are all BISEXUAL. rofl.

weird.too pretty already. (and twinn just fell in love with the new sims couple.) GRINS. ENTERTAINING
