wheee. its EOIs nxt wk. arent you excited, twinn. shucks man, i dont feel like studying at all. i hope tht dad doesnt come into the room and catch me writing about how i dont want to study physics when im supposed to be revising physics. shhhh.rofl. mom was throwin away her stuff cos she was movin to the new library office. then she came across her pay slip dated like...erh...1986 or stm. haha. antique pay slip. then she was also grimacing at how little she was paid back then. rofl. then we were planning to save the most backdated one in case it became valuable a few yrs down the road...yeah...you noe the integrated resorts are having museums as part of the package, see...then we shall contribute our outdated payslip to the museum. it would be so educational - i mean where else can you see a exhibition featuring a former pay slip of a civil servant? the government should really think about setting up a museum to showcase the life of civil servants. woohoo. show how little they are paid. (what's up with me and civil servants anyway) EOIs were a stupid idea. so much for assessing throughout the whole year. wahliau. we might as well revert back to o'levels can...saying EOIs is like saying CA, or SA, just that it confuses people more. whenever i tell people, "oh, i've got EOIs next week" they would all just go - "huh? what the @%#$" are you talking about". harummph. it creates unnecessary disillusionments. im all for suggesting that ALL our daily work, like assessments and stuff be considered into one big score but im sure a lot of our paranoid students wont have that, cos they rather be assured of when to mug and you know, make up for that lost time spent sleepin in class, including me for that matter (only for some parts of maths and physics). yay.i dont like the idea of counting marks based one one or two assessments only. its unnerving, silly and does not count the overall. but what the heck, we count EOYs as one as well. aww crap. the education system is screwed. social studies with ms wu makes you wanna rail at the govt. EOIs in school makes you wanna rail at MOE even more. let's all go on strike, and we can proclaim that our textbooks are covering up the nation's dogmatism and we can boycott school. take a leaf outta china-japan history textbook issue. i just realized that this blogger thingy has spellcheck. the convenience of civilization and technology. oh yeah, class is beggining to get interestin due to the intellectual discourses between the monkey and the goldfish, or rather, the intellectual demands of the goldfish ON the monkey. how fun. and zhongning is the perfectionist. lichen is concocting a class food web. interesting.
